Lithium difluorophosphate (LiDFP) is a premium electrolyte additive for lithium-ion batteries. Added at 0.5–2% concentration, it dramatically improves SEI (solid electrolyte interphase) film quality, reduces impedance, enhances cycle life, and improves low-temperature performance. One of the highest-value fluorine compounds per kilogram in the battery materials space.
Corrosive, moisture-sensitive
